U.N.L.V. - UPTOWN 4 LIFE

U.N.L.V. - Uptown 4 Life (1996)

U.N.L.V. - Drag Em N Tha River

U.N.L.V. - Head No Screws

The groups last album with Cash Money. There was a lot going on over at CMR around this time. Mannie was doing a lot of production for other New Orleans labels, & Baby & Slim's father had recently died with who's money they had startred the label with. This was a groundbreaking album. Mannie was trying a new style with laser & a lot of futuristic type sounds & sound effects. Who new it would change southern rap forever. Most fans consider this the best U.N.L.V. album to date. You make the choice! The album featured B.G., Ms. Tee, Kilo G, & would be the first time we would hear Ziggy Wiggly on a CMR album. The album also featured the Hit "Drag Em N Tha River" which was an instant classic that many others tried to copy. The song would catch the ear of then DJ Jimi cohort Juvenile. Juvenile decided after hearing "Drag Em N Tha River" that he needed to work with Fresh doing his beats. It would change his career forever. A MUST HAVE CLASSIC!!!
