R & B.G.

B.G. & Chopper City - R & B.G. (2010)

Changing course for a min... This is a mix ive compiled of some slower R&B type songs from B.G. and his crew. Probably wont fit on a CD but if you got an iPod or MP3 player throw it on and let me know what you think!

LIL WAYNE - THA BLOCK IS HOT

Lil Wayne - Tha Block Is Hot (1999)

Lil Wayne - Lights Off

Lil Wayne feat/B.G. - Remember Me

Lil Wayne's first solo album. Its one of a kind! Wayne back in these days had a very unique style and voice, unlike his radio, pop stuff nowadays. He liked to use a lot of sound effects and slang, thus creating the phrase "Bling Bling." But he would mimic the sounds of gun shots, fire crackling, etc.. Im sure everyone has this album now being that Wayne is like the "King Of Pop" now.. But if you havent heard it, its well worth the listen! It features, Hot Boy$, Big Tymers, & Paparue

HOT BOYS - GUERILLA WARFARE

Hot Boy$ - Guerilla Warfare (1999)

Hot Boy$ - Ridin

Turk & Lil Wayne - Bout Whatever

Awesome Awesome album! A lot of people say that theres some sneak disses to No Limit Records on a few songs but you be the judge. Each Hot Boy has a solo song on here except Turk whos solo song features Lil Wayne. Every song on here is a banger! Listen back to back and you wont get tired of hearing it. It features a couple skits picking up where the last Hot Boy album left off. It only features the Big Tymers but with a group like the Hot Boy$ theres no need for anyone else to be on the album. Its a complete masterpiece! Buy it if you dont own it!

I Need A Hot Girl

B.G. - CHOPPER CITY IN THE GHETTO

B.G. - Chopper City In The Ghetto (1999)

B.G. feat/Hot Boy$ - Play'N It Raw

B.G. - Bout My Paper

The 2nd album that helped put Cash Money Records on the worldwide map! This album went platinum within a matter of months and gave us the song and phrase "Bling Bling." The phrase was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2002 and to the Merriam Webster dictionary in 2006. Who would of thought B.G. & Lil Wayne would invent a word that would go on to be in the dictionary? It still amazes me! This is a classic classic CMR album which features Hot Boy$ & Big Tymers. An Awesome MUST HAVE!!!

JUVENILE - 400 DEGREEZ

Juvenile - 400 Degreez (1998)

Juvenile feat/Hot Boy$ & Big Tymers - U.T.P.

Juvenile feat/Lil Wayne, Turk, & Paparue - Rich Niggaz

The album that put Cash Money Records on the map! When "Ha" came out it made Juvenile and Cash Money household names. This album went 4 times platinum and remains both Juvenile and Cash Money's best selling album. The singles off the album were "Ha," "Back That Ass Up," & "Follow Me Now." It features all of the Hot Boy$, Big Tymers, Paparue, & Jay-Z. Go Buy This Album, It Is A Must Have!!!!

BIG TYMERS HOW YOU LUV THAT 1 & 2

Big Tymers - How You Luv That? (1998)

Big Tymers feat/Juvenile - Try'n 2 Make A Million

Big Tymers - How You Luv That? Vol. 2 (1998)

Big Tymers feat/ Juvenile & Lac - Drop It Like Its Hot

With this Im posting both of the "How You Luv That?'s." Their basically the same exact album except a few changes in the 2nd. Theres about 6 new songs, a remix to Stun'n & they took off a few songs to make room for the 6. Features on the albums are, Bun B, B.G., Juvenile, Lil Wayne, Cadillac a.k.a. "Lac" & Papa Rue. To me this is the Big Tymers best work, they were fresh, worked well together, and finally rapping about what the label name is "Cash Money!" They're classic albums and well worth the listen!

Check These Videos From Vol. 2

Big Tymers - Big Ballin

Big Tymers feat/Papa'Rue & Lil Wayne - Stun'n (Remix)

HOT BOYS - GET IT HOW U LIVE!!

Hot Boy$ - Get It How U Live!! (1997)

Hot Boy$ - Get It How U Live!!

The very first Hot Boy album! What started out as a group of "baby gangstaz" with B.G. & Lil Wayne, eventually turned out to be one of the greatest groups out the south! Joining "Doogie" & "Wayne" is "Turk" & Juvenile who replaced "Lil Derrick a.k.a. Bullet as the fourth Hot Boy. This album is a straight classic! Theres nothing to compare this to because there was nothing like it b4. Each member has a solo song along with calabo tracks. The album features the original "We On Fire" hilarious skits & production by the incredible Mannie Fresh, a guest appearance by Bun B and Ex-Hot Boy "Lil Derrick." Still a banger! These albums never get old! A must have!!!

B.G. - ITS ALL ON U 1 & 2

B.G. - It's All On U Vol. 1 (1997)

B.G. - Silent B.G.

B.G. - It's All On U Vol. 2 (1997)

B.G. feat/Hot Boy$ - Hot Boy$ 226

With this Im posting both It's All On U's seeing as they were put out within just a few short months of eachother. Both are classic B.G. albums! The first has a real gutter gangster feel to it, which suits B.G. very well. It should of been called "Chopper City Vol. 2" for a couple reasons. 1 like i said it has a real grimey sound to it and features remix's to "Uptown Thang" & "Retaliation." As i stated previously "Chopper City" is my fav B.G. album, and this one aint too far behind. Featured on the album are, Ziggly Wiggly, Big Tymers, all of the Hot Boy$, Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Turk, Lil Derrick a.k.a. Bullet, & Bun B. Classic Must Have!!!

Vol. 2 Has more of a laid back feel to it. Sumthin you could burn & ride to. This one has a remix to "Get Your Shine On" and features Hot Boy$ & Big Tymers. Another Classic!

JUVENILE - SOLJA RAGS

Juvenile - Solja Rags (1997)

Juvenile feat/ Hot Boy$ - Hide Out Or Ride Out

Juvenile's first Cash Money Records album. After hearing U.N.L.V's "Drag Em N Tha River" Juvenile immediately knew he wanted to work under Mannie Fresh's production. After meeting with Baby he soon signed a deal and soon after released this album. This is my 2nd favorite Juve album only after 400 Degreez. This was a big change in style from Juvenile's "Bounce" roots after doing work with DJ Jimi. "Solja Rags" had a lot of firsts. It would be the first time we would hear Lil Wayne since "True Story," and the first time we would hear Lil Derrick a.k.a. "Bullet," a.k.a. "Bullet Proof," (R.I.P.) supposedly a member of the Hot Boy$ but was only featured on a few of their songs. This is a classic, must have album. It features, Ziggly Wiggly, Big Moe (R.I.P.), all of the Hot Boy$, B.G., Lil Wayne, Turk, & "Bullet Proof" the Big Tymers (Mannie Fresh & Baby), & Magnolia Shorty.

MAGNOLIA SHORTY - MONKEY ON THA D$CK

Magnolia Shorty - Monkey On Tha D$ck (1997)

Next up is Magnolia Shorty's one and only CMR album, Monkey On Tha D$ck. This album only has 6 tracks but pretty much every one is a classic. This is a straight bounce album, and would be the last bounce album Cash Money made to this date. The album features Juvenile & B.G. This will be the last of the "Old Cash Money" albums. A Must Have!

ME. TEE - FEMALE BALLER

Ms. Tee - Female Baller (1996)

Ms. Tee Feat/Tec-9, B.G., & Kilo G - Bring It Home To Me

The 2nd Ms. Tee album. Much improved from her last. This has more of a gangsta bounce feel to it like were used to from Mannie & CMR. She also raps alot more on this one rather than just singing rap lyrics. The album is mostly solo except for one song featuring, Tec-9, B.G., & Kilo G. Its worth a listen..

PIMP DADDY - PIMP'N AIN'T E-Z

Pimp Daddy - Pimp'N Ain't E-Z (1996)

Pimp Daddy (B.G. & Big Tymers) - Pimp'N Ain'T E-Z

Pimp Daddy - Got 2 Be Real (Remix)

This was kind of a weird tribute album to Pimp Daddy. He died a few years earlier. Theres a few of his songs he made before he died, and a few that were made in memory of him. Thats why you'll notice theres some tracks that feature Mannies older style of production, and some that feature his new style. A great album overall. it features Big Tymers (Mannie Fresh & Baby), U.N.L.V., B.G., & fellow New Orleans legend Warren Mayes. It features remixes to B.G.'s Bat A Bitch titled Pimp'N Ain't E-Z & Pimp Daddy's own Got 2 Be Real, which I personally like better than the first. Great album, great listen! Check it out!

B.G. - CHOPPER CITY

B.G. - Chopper City (1996)

B.G. - All On U

B.G. feat/Big Tymers - Bat A Bitch

God where do i start! Chopper City, an absolute MUST HAVE CLASSIC!!!! This is my favorite B.G. album to date! Its on my ipod and in my cd book at all times no matter what!!! Every single song is awesome! Mannie Fresh was amazing on here, really gangstafied type beats but still with that N.O. Mannie style. Featured hit after hit, like, "All On U," "Uptown Thang," "Retaliation," "Bat A Bitch," & "Wheel Chairs," just to name a few. It was supposed to be a "B.G.'Z" album with Lil Wayne, but Wayne had just recently shot himself in the chest while playing with his mothers boyfriends gun flashing it in the mirror dancing around to some loud music. His mother then pulled him out of Cash Money & wanted him to focus more on school. On the inside booklet B.G. says whats up to Lil Wayne in his thanks. This is still considered to be a down south classic all over the U.S. & the whole world for that matter! If you've never heard this you must have been living in a hole in the center of the earth. lol The album features the now Called "Big Tymers" (Mannie Fresh & Baby), Bun B, the newly recruited Juvenile, Ms. Tee, Mac, & Keisha, Also features interludes by The hilarious Ziggy "Big Guns" The Wiggler. A MUST HAVE not only for CMR fans but rap & hip hop fans period!!! GO GET THIS NOW!!!

U.N.L.V. - UPTOWN 4 LIFE

U.N.L.V. - Uptown 4 Life (1996)

U.N.L.V. - Drag Em N Tha River

U.N.L.V. - Head No Screws

The groups last album with Cash Money. There was a lot going on over at CMR around this time. Mannie was doing a lot of production for other New Orleans labels, & Baby & Slim's father had recently died with who's money they had startred the label with. This was a groundbreaking album. Mannie was trying a new style with laser & a lot of futuristic type sounds & sound effects. Who new it would change southern rap forever. Most fans consider this the best U.N.L.V. album to date. You make the choice! The album featured B.G., Ms. Tee, Kilo G, & would be the first time we would hear Ziggy Wiggly on a CMR album. The album also featured the Hit "Drag Em N Tha River" which was an instant classic that many others tried to copy. The song would catch the ear of then DJ Jimi cohort Juvenile. Juvenile decided after hearing "Drag Em N Tha River" that he needed to work with Fresh doing his beats. It would change his career forever. A MUST HAVE CLASSIC!!!

B.G.'Z - TRUE STORY

"Tha B.G.'Z" - True Story (1995)

Tha B.G.'Z - From Tha 13th To Tha 17th

Tha B.G.'Z - Hood Took Me Under

The debut album from B.G. 13 yrs old at the time & Lil Wayne 11 yrs old. Although Lil Wayne can only be heard on 3 songs, and to this day is considered a B.G. album it was still a group effort. The album art was even later changed to just "B.G." Waynes verses on here are excelent considering his age and the fact that he sounds like a kindergardner. The intro to the album can also be heard on U.N.L.V.'s "Mac Melph Calio." This is the oldest Cash Money album that Universal re-released, and im not quite sure why. This album was also the start to the revamp of the CMR roster. Mannie really went to work on here, producing fire beats, & excellent use of the "Triggerman Bells" This also has the infamous "Fuck Big Boy" song on it, dissing Big Boy Records and especially Mystikal & Partners N Crime. The album features Ms. Tee, E Vicious of "X-Mob," & Mr. Ivan. An absolute classic and a must have!!!

TEC-9 - STRAIGHT FROM THA RAMP

Tec-9 - Straight From Tha Ramp (1995)

Tec-9 feat/B.G. - Where Ya From

The debut from Tec-9. This album is just amazing! With classic production from Mannie Fresh, this album is hard not to like! Every songs a banger. With U.N.L.V. Tec-9 was easy to over look, but he really shines on here! Guest appearances by, B.G., Kilo G, & B-32. This is a must must have for all you "Old CMR" fans!!!

MS. TEE - HAVING THINGS

Ms. Tee - Having Things (1995)

Ms. Tee feat/U.N.L.V. - Getn2itwithabitch

This was Ms. Tee's 2nd album but were gonna call it her first full length.. Ms. Tee has a very unique style and has been featured on numerous Cash Money album. She usually does the melodic hooks. This is for sure a Cash Money album with Mannie Fresh on the beats. The album features, U.N.L.V., Mr. Ivan, Kilo G, Mannie Fresh, Baby, & Dolemite who was from a fellow New Orleans record company "Red Rum Records." If you like Ms. Tee then check it out, if not....

U.N.L.V. - MAC MELPH CALIO

U.N.L.V. - Nigga I'm Bout It

U.N.L.V. - Mac Melph Calio (1995)

Another U.N.L.V. banger! With this album they sold 20,000 more than the last which means they've obviously made a name for themselves especially since they didnt sell much out of the New Orleans area. This is definitely a U.N.L.V. album! With disses to "Partners N Crime," a remix to "Eddie Bow," & constant recurrences of "6th N Barrone" lyrics. The album features, B.G., Mr. Ivan, Ms. Tee, Black Jack Of PxMxWx, Lil Slim, & Magnolia (Soulja) Slim
